Upright

Often simple for larger carpeted areas but may be bulky on stairs or in tight storage.

Canister

Can offer flexible hose-and-tool reach and works well across mixed surfaces, though the body must follow the user.

Cordless stick

Convenient for quick daily use and smaller homes, with runtime and battery replacement as ownership considerations.

Robot

Useful for frequent automated surface pickup but does not replace every edge, stair, upholstery or deep-cleaning task.

General consumer information only. Do not mix cleaning chemicals or improvise electrical, chimney, high-access, pressurized, drain or other safety-critical work. Follow Canadian product labels, recall notices and the exact manufacturer’s instructions.
